My Story
Born in 1993, I spent my childhood in a small village near Hamburg. In 2013 I finished school with the Abitur and started studying business informatics at the HAW Hamburg. After finishing the bachelor's degree in 2017 I approached the master of business informatics at Kiel University (CAU).
With my first Android Smartphone in 2012, I developed a broad interest in the relatively new operating system. In the second year of studies at the HAW Hamburg, I started my first attempts in Android app development.
With the start of the master's degree at Kiel University (CAU) in 2017, I finally released my first Android app called Hue Light in the Google Play Store.
Over time, my app portfolio was extended by two more apps: Timer and Dark Mode, which were initially meant to simplify my daily life.
Hue Light
The Hue Light app is a lite light controller app for Philips Hue lamps.
It enables users to easily turn on and off their lamps and change their colors.
When I started using Philips Hue lamps, I came across the problem that opening the official Philips Hue app on my old smartphone took realtively long and was not intuitive to use. To solve these problems, I created my own app as an alternative solution.
